Preview File

This screen shows a preview of the data to be written to the external text file, based on the selections made throughout the Text Wizard.

Activity steps

1. Review the Preview of display to ensure all attributes appear correctly isolated.
2. Specify the ASCII encoding of the exported file.
   1. To change the encoding used to interpret alphanumeric characters, choose a Text region option.
   2. To change the encoding used for number formats, choose a Number region option.
3. To create the external file, click Finish.
4. If importing a file to a Studio project, the Import Files screen displays.

5. Use the Import Files screen:

   1. Choose which Files to create and associate with your project.

   2. Confirm the Import Fields for this operation.

   3. If required, choose how to Rename Fields during import.

   4. Click OK.

      Files references are added to the project.
